This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Produce precise and timely policy analyses for designated jurisdictions or specific issues, encompassing federal, state, and local legislative and regulatory changes.

• Generate ongoing written deliverables — including summaries, trackers, reports, and briefings — that adhere to quality standards, with regular oversight and input from senior team members.

• Demonstrate effective utilization of FiscalNote tools, data resources, and standard delivery processes to efficiently execute client work.

• Consistently incorporate feedback to enhance the accuracy, structure, and clarity of your outputs across various deliverables.

• Effectively manage your workload across multiple deadlines, proactively identifying and flagging risks or obstacles.

• Participate in client calls and meetings to assist senior team members in nurturing client relationships and providing updates on project progress.

• Communicate in a clear and professional manner, both in writing and during internal discussions, utilizing established formats and templates.

• Develop expertise in FiscalNote’s current products and solutions, contributing to the evolution of new technical and professional service offerings over time.

• Convey client and product feedback to product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to drive continuous improvement.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in policy research, government, consulting, or a related field.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex policy analyses in clear, audience-appropriate formats.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams at once while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

• A strong interest in the convergence of politics, policy, and technology.

• A Bachelor’s degree in political science, government, economics, public policy, or a related discipline.

• Experience in leveraging data to support analysis and deliver targeted, concise insights.

• Exceptional organizational skills and a quick learning curve for new tools and workflows.

• Comfort in working alongside AI-assisted tools and a readiness to adopt new workflows that enhance speed and quality.

• Prior experience in a client-focused or customer service-oriented environment is preferred.
