Junior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Ensure the availability and optimal performance of system and network services.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot wireless network devices, including access points and switches.

• Manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure to ensure their availability and reliability.

• Analyze platform behavior and propose enhancements for system and infrastructure.

• Configure and troubleshoot various protocols and technologies, such as routing, switching, TCP/IP, PPP, Ethernet, FTP, DHCP, OSPF, VLAN, VTP, BGP, EIGRP, ACL, VoIP, firewalls, as well as LAN and WAN.

• Manage IP addresses and address tickets within the established service level agreements (SLAs).

• Oversee and troubleshoot Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS.

• Provide technical support for 4G/5G LTE and wireless technologies.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

• Create and supervise the implementation of internal and external policies.

• Lead and engage in technical sessions, coordinate multi-organizational projects, and manage discussions related to technical implementation or troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of networks, including routing, switching, LAN/WAN, VLAN, BGP, security, and system performance management.

• Proficient in using tools such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Jira JSM, Microsoft Platform, Slack, and Nagios Monitoring.

• Excellent technical support abilities and communication skills.

• Fundamental knowledge of Networking, Servers, LAN, WAN, and Wireless Networks.

• Recent graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are welcome.

• Familiarity with Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Networking, Security Monitoring, and Internet technologies.

• Willingness to commit to 24×7 rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.

• Educational qualifications: BE/B.Tech, MCA, or a Master's degree.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.

• Possession of CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification is a plus.
