Junior Manual QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Execute established test cases, which involve running various scenarios within the application to verify that everything functions as intended.

• Identify, document, and communicate any bugs or defects encountered during the testing process.

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of all relevant testing documentation.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to gain a clear understanding of requirements.

• Conduct testing on the software following changes or updates to ensure that new code does not introduce any errors.

• Actively engage in daily meetings, estimation and refinement sessions, planning, and other project-related activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Commercial experience as a manual QA in web projects.

• Practical experience with REST APIs.

• Hands-on experience with SQL.

• Familiarity with browser Dev Tools.

• Knowledge of testing techniques and their practical application.

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the bug/story lifecycle.

• Comprehension of Agile methodologies, specifically SCRUM.

• Upper-intermediate proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Preferred: Practical experience with Jenkins or other Continuous Integration (CI) build systems (build, deploy, run tests).

• Experience with version control systems, such as GIT.

• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language.

• Fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
