This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist the Learning Design Team in addressing our client’s training requirements.
• Collaborate with fellow Learning Designers, the Art team, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create suitable lessons.
• Familiarize yourself with learners and their characteristics, the responsibilities of a role, and what successful execution of those responsibilities entails.
• Partner with clients and SMEs to identify resources necessary for producing learning materials.
• Aid clients in understanding the most effective media and technologies to fulfill training needs.
• Simplify complex information into an engaging and comprehensible format: Develop storyboards for eLearning courses based on instructional design principles.
• Analyze and review for clear and consistent delivery.
• Create and publish media-rich, responsive content: Develop interactions and compile course content using eLearning software.
• Assist in testing Distributed Learning packages within Learning Management Systems (LMS) and evaluate effectiveness, including SCORM/xAPI reporting.
• Collaborate with fellow Learning Designers to enhance your expertise and adopt best practices in the discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in educational technology and adult learning.
• Demonstrated practical experience in designing effective online, blended, and/or distance learning experiences.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues and clients confidently, clearly, transparently, and passionately.
• Capability to work independently with supervision on long-term projects, as well as in small, cross-functional, task-oriented teams for short-term objectives.
• An inclusive and collaborative work style within a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and eLearning technologies.
• Proficient in content authoring tools.
• Some experience with multimedia and graphics software.
