Junior IT Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Provide support and administration for macOS, Linux (Ubuntu), and Windows environments.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, system, and software issues.

• Set up laptops, reinstall operating systems, and install necessary software.

• Administer user accounts and permissions in Google Workspace, Atlassian, and other platforms.

• Develop and maintain structured technical documentation.

• Oversee IT equipment logistics, including sourcing, inventory management, and coordinating deliveries for contractors.

• Maintain and support internal lab environments and networks.

• Assist with basic scripting tasks and automation projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration roles.

• Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, systems, and applications.

• Familiarity with macOS, Linux (Ubuntu), or Windows operating systems.

• Experience in configuring laptops, reinstalling operating systems, and setting up software.

• Skilled in managing users and permissions in Google Workspace, Atlassian, or similar platforms.

• Basic scripting skills or a strong interest in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.

• Experience with sourcing and managing IT equipment.

• Ability to produce and sustain clear documentation.

• Intermediate+ level of English proficiency.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proactive, responsible, and team-oriented attitude with a desire to learn.

• Understanding of SaaS systems and cloud services.
