Junior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain backend services utilizing Node.js, Express, and associated technologies.

• Assist in the development and enhancement of frontend components using frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar.

• Collaborate with senior developers, designers, and product managers to comprehend requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.

• Engage in code reviews and aid in the enhancement of internal coding standards.

• Support debugging, testing, and optimizing performance.

• Work with databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL to design and manage data models.

• Keep abreast of emerging trends in web technologies and propose improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or comparable practical experience).

• 1–2 years of experience in backend development using Node.js.

• Familiarity with at least one frontend JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and contemporary web architectures.

• Basic knowledge of database design and querying (MSSQL/SQL/NoSQL).

• Familiarity with Git and version control practices.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a desire to learn.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).

• Exposure to cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.

• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
