Junior Full Stack Developer, Python/React.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable full-stack applications utilizing contemporary Python backend technologies under the mentorship of senior engineers and architects.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools for code creation, test generation, documentation, and system analysis.

• Review, validate, and enhance AI-generated outputs to guarantee quality, security, and scalability.

• Create responsive, high-performance user interfaces leveraging modern component-based architectures.

• Develop and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

• Analyze and engage with legacy Java and PL/SQL systems to facilitate application modernization and system decomposition.

• Participate in modernization initiatives that include refactoring, re-platforming, and microservices migration.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and stakeholders, to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Contribute to discussions on system design, architecture, and technical decision-making.

• Uphold quality development practices, including test-driven development and automated testing.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Conduct code reviews and actively engage in enhancing the code base.

• Assist in estimating and sizing user stories.

• Participate in and contribute to all Agile ceremonies and events.

• Collaborate closely with the team to ensure that technical user stories and acceptance criteria are accurately documented.

• Contribute to the documentation of system design, architecture, and procedures.

• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance.

• Must be willing to work during Eastern Standard Time business hours to fulfill customer needs.

• Candidates must currently reside within the continental United States.

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Python (backend) software/application development.

• Must have at least 2 years of practical front-end development experience with React.js.

• Must possess professional hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot), including generating, reviewing, and validating code within AI-driven workflows.

• Must have professional hands-on experience in developing microservices-based architectures.

• Must have professional hands-on experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).

• Must have professional hands-on experience using JIRA for backlog and task management.

• Must exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Must possess excellent communication skills, capable of engaging directly with non-technical stakeholders and translating business needs into technical solutions.

• Must be able to create accurate development estimates and manage tasks independently.

• Must be self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
