This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Management of brokers and strategic growth initiatives
• Establish and nurture connections with foodservice operators, distributors, and significant customer accounts
• Market and sell company products to a variety of foodservice venues, including restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and hospitality businesses
• Perform regular customer visits, deliver product presentations, and conduct sales calls
• Discover new business prospects and generate leads in designated territories
• Assist in formulating and implementing sales strategies to reach revenue and expansion objectives
• Keep track of market trends, competitor actions, and customer requirements
• Work in conjunction with marketing, customer service, and operations teams to guarantee customer satisfaction
• Aid in product launches, menu placements, promotional activities, and sampling events
• Create sales reports, forecasts, and updates on account activities
• Address customer concerns and ensure prompt follow-up on inquiries and requests
• Participate in trade shows, industry events, and distributor meetings as necessary
• Effectively utilize the company’s CRM to monitor sales calls, opportunities, wins, campaigns, and forecasting
• Attend and engage proactively in priority sales meetings and appointments
• 1-3 years of experience in sales, foodservice, customer service, or a related field
• Preferred knowledge of the foodservice industry
• Strong skills in communication, presentation, and relationship development
• Capability to analyze sales data and pinpoint growth opportunities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
• Friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor, with a high regard for relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Keen attention to detail and a dedication to excellence
• Adaptable and ready to undertake any tasks to assist team efforts
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage responsibilities
• Solid work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability, with the ability to be a self-starter and make independent decisions
• Maintain a current food handler’s permit and apply food safety knowledge as required
• Interest in the plant-based meat sector
