Junior Fleet Manager – Vehicle Damage & Technical Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Independently evaluate and oversee cases related to repairs, maintenance, and vehicle damage.

• Determine the most technically and economically viable solutions for FINN.

• Create and update damage catalogs and vehicle de-fleetment agreements in collaboration with OEMs and remarketing partners.

• Serve as the primary subject-matter expert for Operations, Fleet, Customer Care, inspection organizations, vehicle compounds, and legal representatives.

• Thoroughly assess and negotiate repair expenses and vehicle inspection reports.

• Discover cost-saving opportunities and reduce vehicle downtime.

• Ensure a fair, transparent, and traceable process for damage handling and settlement.

• Leverage data and process expertise to continuously enhance damage-related workflows.

• Promote sustainable advancements in fleet performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge in the automotive industry, such as being a certified automotive master technician, state-certified technician, automotive assessor, or possessing a degree in automotive or industrial engineering.

• Proven hands-on experience in repair cost optimization, vehicle valuation, review of inspection reports, or technical fleet management.

• Solid affinity for digital tools and processes, complemented by a passion for effectively utilizing technical expertise in a fast-paced scale-up environment.

• Proficient German language skills (C2 level) and good English language skills (B2 level) for daily interactions in an international team.

• Experience in negotiating or establishing vehicle return standards and damage catalogs with OEMs, vehicle buyers, or leasing companies.

• Hands-on experience with estimating systems such as DAT and Audatex, along with modern data analysis tools.
