Junior Financial Controller – AI-driven SaaS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Engage in budgeting and assist in developing financial models for budgeting purposes.

• Evaluate actual performance against budget, including variance analysis, identifying key performance drivers, and preparing management reports.

• Participate in monthly reporting meetings with C-level executives.

• Present analysis findings and create meeting notes.

• Suggest actions by analyzing and interpreting data, and conducting comparative analyses.

• Oversee cost controls.

• Manage application spending with a strong emphasis on LLMs.

• Coordinate daily document acceptance and payment processes with the accounting team.

• Support other teams in document acceptance and payment processes.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to help them comprehend cost variances.

• Provide ad hoc reporting to stakeholders within the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in a comparable finance role.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

• Knowledge of VBA and Power Query is a plus.

• A proactive, systematic, and hands-on approach, with a strong sense of ownership.

• Capability to offer innovative ideas and optimize processes.

• Flexibility to adapt to change and willingness to adjust direction as needed.

• Proficient English language skills (minimum B2 level).

• Experience in the SaaS sector or in consulting/audit (BIG4) is advantageous.
