Assistant Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the financial components within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) framework.

• Ensure precise reconciliation between Salesforce and NetSuite systems.

• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes.

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations while maintaining accounting precision.

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Inventory teams to ensure accurate processing of customer orders.

• Support activities related to revenue recognition.

• Aid in inventory accounting and planning tasks.

• Oversee gross margin reporting and evaluate financial performance.

• Assist in annual external audits.

• Coordinate efforts with external auditors.

• Help with U.S. and Israeli tax compliance, including sales tax and corporate tax submissions.

• Provide support for budgeting and forecasting efforts.

• Conduct variance analysis.

• Prepare reports for management.

• Facilitate the automation of finance processes using ERP, BI, and AI tools.

• Enhance internal controls and accounting methodologies.

• Contribute to the development of a scalable finance infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• CPA certification.

• Experience in a Big-4 accounting firm (Hi-Tech department) following an internship.

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

• Background in consolidated financial reporting.

• Familiarity with NetSuite ERP.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• High proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

• Experience with Salesforce (or another CRM system) is preferred.

• Background in the SaaS industry is preferred.

• Experience in inventory accounting is preferred.

• Experience in coordinating external audits is preferred.

• Knowledge of U.S. sales tax and corporate tax compliance is preferred.

• Experience with BI, automation, or AI finance tools is preferred.
