Assistant Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Manage the financial components of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process

• Ensure precise reconciliation between Salesforce and NetSuite

• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

• Execute balance sheet reconciliations and uphold accounting accuracy

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Inventory teams to guarantee precise customer order processing

• Support revenue recognition efforts

• Aid in inventory accounting and planning

• Oversee gross margin reporting and financial performance

• Assist in annual external audits

• Liaise with external auditors

• Aid in U.S. and Israeli tax compliance, including sales tax and corporate tax submissions

• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities

• Conduct variance analysis

• Prepare management reports

• Assist in automating financial processes using ERP, BI, and AI tools

• Enhance internal controls and accounting processes

• Play a role in developing scalable finance infrastructure

⛳️ Requirements

• CPA certification

• Experience in a Big-4 accounting firm (Hi-Tech division) following internship

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP

• Experience with consolidated financial reporting

• Proficient in using NetSuite ERP

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• High proficiency in English (both written and spoken)

• Experience with Salesforce (or another CRM system)

• Background in the SaaS industry

• Experience in inventory accounting

• Proven experience coordinating external audits

• Knowledge of U.S. sales tax and corporate tax compliance

• Familiarity with BI, automation, or AI finance tools
