Manager, General Accounting, Finance – Controllership

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of accounting professionals

• Assist the Director of General Accounting

• Work collaboratively with Baptist Health’s system-wide entities

• Ensure appropriate application and implementation of procedures and processes necessary to adhere to current accounting regulations

• Manage external auditor requirements

• Foster timely resolution of audit-related issues

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance

• Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• Expertise in technical accounting and evaluation skills

• Proficient in handling technical accounting issues and skilled in providing analytical solutions to these challenges

• Experience in leading staff in daily operations

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach

• Excellent communication skills

• At least 5 years of relevant experience

• MBA or Master of Accounting degree preferred

• CPA certification preferred (not mandatory)
