This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee budget and spending-plan trackers; gather and verify financial data provided by the Government along with historical funding allocation and distribution records.
• Analyze planned versus actual expenditures, investigate discrepancies, and highlight funding or execution issues for senior management's consideration.
• Assist in the preparation of budget inputs for future years, resource needs, and supporting analyses related to the PPBE/PPBES process.
• Support the review of Purchase Request (PR) packages and ensure quality checks for funding approvals, resource allocation, and investment planning documents; monitor corrections and supporting materials.
• Create precise and accessible financial tables, briefing presentations, and responses to data requests.
• Collaborate with scheduling and risk management teams to assess the impact of financial changes on program plans.
• Contribute to bi-weekly spend-plan reports, quarterly financial briefings, division-wide budget analyses, and financial inputs for program status reporting.
• Partner with the Program Manager and senior financial personnel to facilitate financial planning, budgeting, and execution for Federal Client screening programs throughout the capability lifecycle.
• A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in financial or analytical support; internships, coursework, and significant academic projects may be considered.
• Understanding of PPBE concepts along with basic budget formulation, execution, and variance analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, sorting/filtering, and pivot tables.
• Strong communication skills, attention to data accuracy, and ability to manage recurring deadlines.
• U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for federal clients.
• Public Trust Clearance is necessary.
• Preferred: experience with federal budgeting, purchase requests, resource allocation planning, Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), or Power BI.
