This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Deliver features from start to finish: design, develop, and test small, well-defined enhancements to our products.

• Enhance reliability and speed: resolve bugs, implement tests, and monitor code to assess performance and stability.

• Address genuine customer needs: work closely with Product, Design, and Solutions teams to outline straightforward, practical solutions that benefit our clients.

• Elevate developer experience: assist in creating examples, documentation, and minor tools that facilitate smooth and enjoyable integration with our SDKs.

• Approach problems from foundational principles: decompose issues, evaluate trade-offs, and select the simplest effective solutions.

• Embrace learning collaboratively: engage in code reviews (both providing and receiving feedback), pair with colleagues, and share your insights.

• Take ownership of your responsibilities: organize your tasks, communicate progress, and ensure high-quality releases.

• Contribute to our development process: assist in refining our CI, testing frameworks, and local development scripts as we grow.


⛳️ Requirements

• A genuine passion for AI and AI-assisted coding — this is essential.

• Strong problem-solving skills: you can deconstruct tasks, reason from foundational principles, and clearly articulate trade-offs.

• Dependability and commitment: you adhere to agreed deadlines, communicate proactively if facing obstacles, and complete tasks effectively.

• Receptiveness to feedback: you are coachable, inquisitive, and adapt based on your learning experiences.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you can collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

• Consistent and reliable internet access for remote work.

• Personal projects, a small repository, open-source contributions, or documentation showcasing your learning process.

• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, basic APIs/HTTP, or simple databases (SQL/NoSQL).

• Knowledge of mobile or web SDKs is a plus (we support iOS, Android, and Web).

• An interest in sports, media, or content technology.

• Backgrounds that have thrived include mathematics, physics, boot camps, and self-taught paths— a computer science degree is not necessary.
