Junior Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Deliver features from start to finish: design, develop, and test small, well-defined enhancements to our products.

• Ensure reliability and speed: resolve bugs, implement tests, and instrument code to measure performance and stability.

• Address real customer challenges: collaborate with Product, Design, and Solutions teams to define straightforward, practical solutions that benefit our clients.

• Enhance developer experience: contribute to examples, documentation, and minor tools that facilitate smooth integration with our SDKs.

• Approach problems from foundational principles: decompose issues, evaluate trade-offs, and select the simplest effective solution.

• Embrace open learning: engage in code reviews (both giving and receiving feedback), work alongside teammates, and share your insights.

• Take ownership of your responsibilities: organize your tasks, update on progress, and ensure high-quality outcomes.

• Influence our development processes: assist in refining our CI, testing frameworks, and local development scripts as we expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• A genuine passion for AI and AI-assisted programming — this is essential.

• Strong problem-solving skills: able to deconstruct tasks, reason from first principles, and articulate trade-offs clearly.

• Dependability and commitment: you adhere to agreed timelines, communicate promptly if you encounter obstacles, and complete tasks effectively.

• Receptiveness to feedback: you are coachable, inquisitive, and willing to iterate based on what you learn.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of collaborating effectively in a remote environment.

• Consistent and reliable internet access for remote work.

• Having side projects, a small repository, open-source contributions, or documentation that illustrates your learning journey is a plus.

• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, basic APIs/HTTP, or simple databases (SQL/NoSQL) is beneficial.

• Knowledge of mobile or web SDKs is advantageous (we support iOS, Android, and Web).

• An interest in sports, media, or content technology is desirable.

• Successful candidates often come from backgrounds in mathematics, physics, coding bootcamps, or self-taught paths— a computer science degree is not a prerequisite.
