This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Aid in the design, development, and maintenance of application components and services.
• Facilitate CI/CD pipeline processes, including code integration, testing, and deployment.
• Work collaboratively with developers, QA, DevSecOps, and Cloud Engineering teams to enhance delivery.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and assist in executing the backlog.
• Write and maintain code, scripts, and basic integrations under the mentorship of senior team members.
• Assist in automated testing and validation efforts.
• Diagnose and resolve defects with guidance from senior developers.
• Contribute to documentation and promote knowledge sharing.
• Help develop, maintain, and monitor CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Support infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives employing tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Aid in integrating security scanning and compliance checks within build and deployment pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, container scanning).
• Provide support for cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP, prioritizing security best practices.
• Assist with containerization projects utilizing Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Monitor environments, logs, and alerts; aid in troubleshooting and incident response efforts.
• Document configurations, processes, and security controls to meet audit and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams in an Agile/Scrum setting.
• Learn and implement federal security frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
• Ensure that pipelines and software adhere to security standards, including STIG hardening and provide documentation for Risk Management Framework (RMF) or Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Secret – Fully Cleared Only, must verify that clearance is active.
• Client 8140 intermediate certification or client 8570 IAM Level II certifications or higher.

• 2 years of experience in software development.
• Familiarity with Java or comparable programming languages.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git).
