This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
• Customer Advocacy & Success Planning: Grasp customer objectives, create success plans, and align API solutions to enhance business value.
• Product Adoption & Optimization: Track usage trends, pinpoint opportunities for growth, and offer best practices to maximize API utilization.
• Proactive Engagement & Issue Resolution: Represent the customer's voice within Vonage, working alongside support, product, and engineering teams to tackle challenges and enhance the customer experience.
• Renewals & Expansion: Discover upsell and cross-sell opportunities to boost revenue growth and enhance customer retention.
• Training & Enablement: Deliver continuous education and resources to ensure customers fully utilize Vonage API solutions.
• Feedback & Insights: Gather and communicate customer feedback to internal teams to influence product enhancements and roadmap priorities.
• Fluent English is essential.
• Experience: Previous experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a related customer-facing role within a SaaS, CPaaS, or technology-focused company is advantageous.
• Technical Acumen: Knowledge of APIs, cloud communications, and software integration processes.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: A strong enthusiasm for customer success and the ability to nurture meaningful relationships.
• Communication & Problem-Solving: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills coupled with a strategic problem-solving mindset.
• Collaboration: Capability to work across functions with product, sales, and support teams to promote customer success.
• Data-Driven Approach: Proficient in analyzing customer usage data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Adaptability & Proactiveness: Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and proactively address customer needs.
