Junior Creative Merchandiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and recommend apparel, promotional items, signage, and other branded merchandise tailored to client needs.

• Create product assortments and presentations that align with client brand guidelines, culture, budget, objectives, campaigns, and target audiences.

• Assist in campaigns and special events, including Mother's Day, Employee Appreciation Day, company anniversaries, and client-specific occasions.

• Develop visually engaging product presentations that convey the value and relevance of the suggested merchandise.

• Update existing merchandise programs and offer recommendations based on trends, seasonal shifts, and client requirements.

• Confirm product stock availability and accurate pricing for customers prior to client presentations.

• Review and adjust merchandise pricing based on supplier expenses and market dynamics.

• Inform the Account Manager of pricing changes and product updates.

• Prepare competitive pricing by factoring in product, decoration, shipping, and miscellaneous vendor costs.

• Coordinate with suppliers to validate pricing, availability, production needs, and product details.

• Source products in response to prospective clients' Requests for Pricing (RFPs).

• Analyze RFP data, inventory specifics, quantities, and current pricing.

• Identify comparable or alternative merchandise that meets client specifications.

• Formulate product and pricing recommendations for new business ventures.

• Produce comprehensive presentations that include apparel, promotional items, branded merchandise, and signage.

• Contribute merchandising expertise to client proposals, campaigns, and presentations for new business opportunities.

• Operate independently while collaborating with Account Managers, suppliers, and internal teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.

• 3–5+ years of experience in promotional products, branded merchandise, retail merchandising, product sourcing, or a closely related area.

• In-depth knowledge of promotional product suppliers, retail brands, merchandise sourcing, decoration techniques, and production processes.

• Experience in supporting client merchandise programs, corporate merchandise strategies, branded initiatives, or similar projects.

• Familiarity with common decoration techniques such as screen printing, embroidery, laser engraving, and associated production methods.

• Exceptional skills in building presentations and effectively telling product stories.

• Strong ability to select products based on brand compatibility, customer needs, availability, pricing, trends, and campaign goals.

• Experience in developing product pricing while considering supplier costs, decoration, freight, fees, and margins.

• High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and product research tools.

• Familiarity with promotional products industry platforms like ESP+ by ASI and SAGE Promotional Product Software is preferred.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple client inquiries, product searches, presentations, pricing needs, and deadlines concurrently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work within U.S. business hours.

• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST (USA), Monday through Friday (USA).
