Junior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Elicit, document, and validate requirements with stakeholders by utilizing user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and process flows.

• Create, refine, and manage user stories, tasks, and bugs within Azure DevOps; update sprint boards and monitor acceptance criteria.

• Gain experience in facilitating requirements workshops with the support of senior business analysts.

• Map current-state and future-state business processes while upholding team-standard process documentation.

• Utilize basic SQL, Python, or JavaScript to identify automation opportunities and prototype simple solutions.

• Collect, clean, and analyze data to assist in project decisions and present findings to stakeholders visually.

• Aid in the creation and execution of user acceptance test (UAT) scripts and document defects with clear reproduction steps in Azure DevOps.

• Prepare status reports, meeting notes, and presentation materials suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Maintain requirement documents, test artifacts, and process maps to ensure work is auditable and shareable.

• Actively engage in sprint ceremonies, identify blockers, and assist in driving action items from retrospectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, project coordinator, or similar analytical role; internships and co-op positions are included.

• Proven ability to articulate technology and business concepts clearly in both written and verbal forms to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical individuals.

• Familiarity with structured analysis techniques such as user stories, use cases, gap analysis, workflow diagrams, or process mapping.

• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations: asks for clarification, suggests solutions, and takes responsibility for deliverables.

• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through: tracks, escalates, and resolves issues until they are closed.

• Knowledge of or willingness to work with ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and custom .NET applications.

• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing stories, documentation, and tracking delivery.
