Junior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the daily operations of the client delivery team, engaging in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and risk identification with the support of your Delivery Manager.

• Collaborate with Mid and Senior Level Business Analysts to enhance your understanding of client delivery, industry best practices, and the broader role of a Business Analyst.

• Take part in client discovery workshops to learn how to pinpoint opportunities for Cytora to provide value.

• Aid in converting client business requirements into clear specifications, user stories, and process designs.

• Help identify data inputs, system integration points, and exception scenarios during the design of solutions.

• Support the analytical reporting of product performance utilizing tools like Thoughtspot.

• Acquire skills in designing and documenting AI-driven workflows, including strategies for prompts and reporting processes.

• Seek ways to enhance efficiency through AI tools, such as automating repetitive tasks and refining documentation.

• Assist with testing activities, including drafting acceptance criteria, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and documenting edge cases.

• Work collaboratively within agile delivery teams, learning to prioritize tasks and manage dependencies.

• Engage in continuous improvement by monitoring active solutions and identifying areas for enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Some experience in Business Analysis or relevant transferable skills (internship, placement, or early career are welcomed).

• An interest in or exposure to the insurance industry (underwriting, claims, policy administration, or distribution) is advantageous but not mandatory.

• A readiness to learn how to interact with clients and stakeholders in a professional and confident manner.

• A curiosity about AI tools, including prompt engineering and AI-assisted workflows, along with a desire to gain hands-on experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Multilingual capabilities are a plus—fluency in English is required, and additional languages are beneficial.
