Junior Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain automations using Ansible through reusable playbooks, roles, and collections.

• Participate in the management and evolution of platforms such as Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), AWX, and Rundeck.

• Collaborate in the migration and modernization of existing automations to corporate platforms.

• Create and maintain Job Templates, Projects, Inventories, Credentials, and Workflows.

• Update and refactor legacy automations.

• Engage in the definition and continuous improvement of shared automation libraries.

• Provide support for issues related to existing automations.

• Perform troubleshooting and error analysis tasks.

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Development, and Operations teams.

• Participate in technical migrations following the standards defined by Architecture.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation platforms.

• Document developments, procedures, and solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of Ansible: playbooks, roles, and collections.

• Basic or intermediate knowledge of Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and/or AWX.

• Familiarity with Rundeck, Jenkins, or equivalent automation and orchestration tools.

• Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and integrations.

• Understanding of Git, branches, and Pull Requests.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and integration systems.

• Knowledge of Linux.

• Ability to interpret technical documentation and adhere to Architecture standards.

• Capability to develop automations following best practices for quality and reusability.

• Experience with AAP, AWX, or Rundeck will be valued.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and/or GitHub will be considered a plus.

• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts will be advantageous.

• Proficiency in Bash and/or PowerShell will be appreciated.

• Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift will be valued.

• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow will be considered favorable.

• Understanding of JSON, YAML, and XML will be beneficial.

• Basic knowledge of databases will be valued.

• Interest in DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Enterprise Automation.
