Junior Associate – Capital Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the execution of construction, bridge, mezzanine, and development financing transactions.

• Manage lender due diligence inquiries, underwriting packages, closing checklists, and data rooms.

• Aid in the evaluation and comparison of loan terms, pricing, leverage metrics, reserves, and covenant structures.

• Monitor financing schedules and proactively identify potential execution risks or bottlenecks.

• Develop and maintain project-level underwriting and capital stack models.

• Examine project returns, debt sizing, DSCR, LTC/LTV, interest carry, and sensitivity scenarios.

• Support appraisal, lender, and investor packages with precise financial analysis and project assumptions.

• Draft executive summaries, lender memos, and internal strategy documents.

• Oversee financing trackers, covenant calendars, and the draw process coordination.

• Act as a daily point of contact for lenders, brokers, consultants, and financing counterparties.

• Maintain well-organized diligence vaults and ensure timely fulfillment of information requests.

• Foster long-term lender relationship management through prompt communication and dependable execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in finance, real estate, investment banking, private credit, development, or related sectors.

• Proficient in Google Sheets, G-Suite, and financial modeling.

• Familiarity with real estate financing concepts including LTC, LTV, DSCR, cash to close, interest reserves, and capital stacks.

• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail and a proactive attitude without the need for constant supervision.
