• Oversee the importation processes for samples, inputs, equipment, and seeds, from the initial request to the delivery at the designated location.
• Monitor air, sea, and road shipments, keeping track of deadlines, costs, and shipment statuses.
• Supervise arrivals at ports, airports, and border crossings.
• Review and authenticate import documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (BL), Air Waybills (AWB), Certificates of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificates, and Import Licenses (LI).
• Act as the primary liaison with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers.
• Authorize DUIMP registrations and approve taxes, fees, and operational expenses.
• Ensure proper tax classification (NCM), as well as accurate technical descriptions and intended uses of items being imported.
• Request metrics from the customs broker as needed.
• Collaborate with the Logistics team on transportation arrangements from ports and airports to Corteva facilities.
• Maintain up-to-date records of the import process in the import control SharePoint sites.
• Function as the key coordinator between Golden Express and production units for the courier export of samples.
• Regularly assess import demands with key importers on a monthly basis.
• Provide occasional assistance for seed export processes.
• Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in International Trade or International Relations.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
