This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer guidance, recommendations, and documentation support to multidisciplinary teams during the acquisition pre-award phase.
• Assist with Statements of Work (SOWs) and Statements of Objectives (SOOs), acquisition strategies, cost estimations, market research and surveys, quality assurance plans, Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs), source selection, and additional pre-award documentation.
• Aid Contracting Officers and technical departments in both formal and informal source selections and vendor evaluations.
• Generate contract award documents and provide acquisition support for contract awards.
• Offer guidance, recommendations, and documentation assistance during the post-award acquisition phase.
• Support contract administration, modifications, delivery/task orders, invoicing, and contract closeouts.
• Carry out other assigned duties.
• Bachelor’s Degree or a High School diploma with 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with GSA Schedule and GWACs.
• Experience in managing supplies and service contracts is mandatory.
• Proven ability to obtain and analyze product and price data for effective contract negotiations.
• Competence in conducting comparative analyses of vendor terms and/or price quotations against historical data.
• Capability to formulate recommendations regarding vendor selection, terms, or pricing.
• Proficient in communicating effectively with a diverse range of individuals on a daily basis.
• Specialized experience in negotiating and awarding contracts, including contract modifications and/or subcontracts.
• Specialized experience in developing, preparing, and presenting terms and conditions in bids or proposals related to contract awards.
• Experience in evaluating methods and efficiencies in cost allocation through overhead and general administrative expenses.
• Experience in leading and/or providing technical guidance and assistance to professionals overseeing contract administration, closeouts, pricing, negotiations, and/or contract modifications.
• Clerical or technical support tasks limited to typing, filing, and maintaining or verifying records do not meet the experience requirement.
• DAWIA Level II or FAC-C Level II certification, or an equivalent certification obtained within the last 4 years, is preferred but not required.
• Experience in formal source selections and research and development is desirable.
