This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Overseeing accounts payable, including coding supplier invoices to the appropriate nominal and entity, facilitating approval through Omnea, and assisting in timely payment processing.
• Managing accounts receivable by accurately generating customer invoices on schedule and supporting the follow-up on overdue accounts.
• Conducting daily bank reconciliations across various currencies (GBP, USD, EUR, SGD), identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Processing employee expense claims using Spendesk & Deel, ensuring expenses are accurately categorized, documented, and approved.
• Recording journals and ensuring financial records are precise, organized, and up-to-date.
• Keeping customer and supplier information up-to-date, reconciled, and auditable, providing weekly accounts receivable and accounts payable updates for cash flow forecasting.
• Timely response to billing and supplier payment inquiries and escalating issues as necessary.
• Aiding in month-end balance sheet reconciliations with an initial focus on bank, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, progressively handling more complex balances over time.
• Assisting in the maintenance of prepayment and accrual schedules by posting monthly releases and creating accounts payable accruals for pending invoices.
• Supporting the preparation of monthly profit and loss and balance sheet reports, investigating unexpected items, and assisting with variance analysis.
• Completing assigned month-end responsibilities accurately and within the set timeline.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 0–2 years of experience in a finance position.
• Currently pursuing or planning to pursue ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Highly organized and reliable, capable of managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Effective communicator comfortable with asking questions and collaborating with team members.
• Ability to manage your workload independently in a fully remote setting.
