This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Take charge of reconciliations, month-end closing, and daily accounting functions to ensure that financial processes yield accurate and reliable results.

• Identify deficiencies within financial processes and take responsibility for resolving them.

• Seek out opportunities to automate repetitive tasks as the organization expands.

• Assist the team with financial reporting tasks.

• Collaborate with accounts payable and payroll to understand the expenses being recorded.

⛳️ Requirements

• Part qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).

• Strong grasp of fundamental accounting processes, including reconciliations, month-end closing, and the flow of financial data.

• Experience with automation tools, AI, or workflow enhancement is advantageous.

• Proactive, organized, and capable of identifying, investigating, and escalating issues independently, while presenting solutions to management as they arise.
