This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Efficiently process customer invoices, vendor bills, and credit card transactions using Salesforce, QuickBooks Online, and other financial tools, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Execute general accounting tasks including account maintenance, journal entries, and the reconciliation of financial records.
• Monitor project-related expenditures (labor, materials, overhead) while maintaining organized and audit-ready documentation.
• Oversee, reconcile, and manage accounts payable/receivable functions and general ledger activities, including intercompany balance reconciliation.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes as well as reporting activities.
• Schedule payments to vendors and accurately document customer payments.
• Provide support to the Finance Manager with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as required.
• Identify and suggest process enhancements aimed at boosting efficiency and accuracy within the accounting workflow.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience within a corporate setting.
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
• Proficient in Salesforce for effective data management and reporting.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online is essential.
• Comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite.
• Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong critical thinking abilities to identify challenges and propose viable solutions.
• Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality standards while managing time effectively.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Comfortable working within the Mac/iOS system.
• Must be a United States Citizen and available to work from the United States.
