This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Develop and implement strategic prospecting initiatives to identify and qualify new opportunities within designated Federal accounts and regions.
• Establish and sustain a robust sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, collaboration with partners, participation in industry events, marketing efforts, and networking with customers.
• Conduct research on Federal agencies, organizations, mission priorities, acquisition strategies, contract vehicles, and key decision-makers to facilitate account planning processes.
• Engage in customer discovery discussions to comprehend business goals, operational challenges, technical specifications, and mission priorities.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to formulate territory strategies, account plans, and opportunity pursuit efforts.
• Work in conjunction with Business Development, Capture, Solution Architects, Engineering, Marketing, and OEM partners throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
• Acquire knowledge and effectively convey Trace3 Government's portfolio of technology solutions, including cloud, cybersecurity, AI, networking, infrastructure, data & analytics, digital modernization, and managed services.
• Assist in opportunity qualification, pipeline management, forecasting, CRM upkeep, quote development, proposal preparation, and customer follow-up.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of customer engagements, pipeline activities, forecasts, and sales opportunities within Salesforce.
• Gain an understanding of the Federal procurement lifecycle, encompassing GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, SEWP, GSA Schedule, and agency-specific acquisition processes.
• Cultivate productive relationships with OEM partners and internal stakeholders to enhance customer engagements and solution development.
• Consistently meet established activity, pipeline development, and performance goals.
• Continuously enhance technical, business, and Federal market knowledge through formal training, certifications, coaching, and self-directed learning.
• Represent Trace3 Government professionally in customer meetings, conferences, partner events, and industry engagements.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• One to three years of experience in technology sales, business development, consulting, customer success, military leadership, or other customer-facing roles.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong business acumen with the capacity to understand customer challenges and align technology solutions to achieve desired business outcomes.
• Proven ability to foster relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Self-driven, coachable, competitive, and dedicated to ongoing learning and professional growth.
• Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce and standard Microsoft Office productivity tools.
• Capability to work independently while effectively contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
