This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• In this sales role, you will be the diabetes specialist in your region focusing on both hospitals and general practitioners;
• You will be responsible for the regional and account strategy, operational planning, customer interactions, and projects;
• Your responsibilities will include organizing meetings, following up on activities, and building long-term relationships with clients;
• You will add value to clients by discussing which patients can benefit most from our medications, providing the right scientific information, and collaborating with accounts and healthcare providers (HCPs) on solutions that enhance patient care;
• You will possess a strong knowledge base in your therapeutic area and make the necessary efforts to keep your expertise up to date;
• You will regularly participate in (scientific) activities in your region and attend national conferences;
• You will coordinate, build, and implement regional plans with a cross-functional team, enabling you to make informed decisions and prioritize investments (time, budget) within your area to achieve expected results;
• In a rapidly evolving environment, you will find the best ways to access your customers.
• You are an entrepreneur: you recognize needs and opportunities in the market and can act to maximize those insights using an omnichannel approach (F2F interactions, digital solutions, scientific articles, etc.);
• As a salesperson, you can work independently, with HCPs, and in cross-functional teams to set up and manage projects from A to Z while tracking results;
• You will engage in close cross-functional collaboration with internal team members, such as the Brand Team;
• In this sales role, you operate independently but in coordination with your colleagues in the region, exuding confidence, proudly representing Lilly, demonstrating ownership, a good learning ability, and being curious and creative in solving problems such as difficult access issues.
• Bachelor's or master's degree
• Experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical company is required
• Experience and a network within Cardiometabolic Health is a plus, both in hospitals and among general practitioners
• You have experience and a strong commitment to the field of Cardiometabolic Health
• You are a resident of the Netherlands and live in the Northeast Netherlands region
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• You possess a valid driver's license B
• You have a patient-centered attitude and can communicate effectively while building strong relationships
• You possess good interpersonal skills and can work independently
• You have a natural interest in translating science into a clinically meaningful context that is valuable to our clients
• You embody the unstoppable optimism of an entrepreneur

• You work with integrity and in accordance with Lilly Standard Operating Procedures and Dutch laws and regulations
