Journey Curator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Curate every experience: Tailor and finalize itineraries in collaboration with Sales, ensuring each journey feels thoughtfully crafted to the last detail.

• Proactive care: Anticipate travelers' needs — from dietary preferences to arrival arrangements — ensuring they feel attended to without having to reach out.

• Manage supplier connections: Liaise directly with lodges, transport services, and local partners. No detail is overlooked.

• Be the trusted voice for travelers: When unexpected changes occur, even outside standard hours, you are the composed, reliable contact they hear from, primarily via phone.

• Follow through effectively: Oversee post-travel communication, collect feedback, and nurture the relationship long after the journey has concluded.

• Collaborate across the team: Contribute to content creation, marketing, and social media when your insights enhance the value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal English skills.

• Keen attention to detail and strong self-management abilities.

• Comfortable taking ownership of challenges from start to finish without needing prompts.

• Composed under pressure, exuding warmth in every interaction.

• Confident in phone communications, not just in digital correspondence.

• Digitally savvy: Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, and other tools that may arise.

• Capable of balancing multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.

• Located within ±2 hours of Central European Time, preferably in Cape Town.

• Experience in travel, hospitality, or a client-facing role where attention to detail is crucial is highly advantageous.

• Proficiency in an additional language beyond English, such as German, French, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese is a significant plus.
