This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with local employers across diverse sectors.
• Create high-quality job vacancies, work placements, apprenticeships, and other employment opportunities.
• Comprehend employers’ recruitment requirements, workplace culture, and opportunities for advancement.
• Build a pipeline of job vacancies and proactively match participants to appropriate opportunities.
• Employ innovative strategies such as reverse marketing to unlock new opportunities.
• Assist participants throughout the recruitment process, from identifying roles to interviews, job placements, and beyond.
• Collaborate with employers and participants to agree on effective onboarding processes, workplace support, and reasonable adjustments.
• Conduct strengths-based vocational profiling to comprehend participants’ skills, aspirations, experiences, and barriers.
• Offer practical assistance with job searching, applications, CV writing, and interview preparation.
• Connect participants to specialized services and community organizations.
• Provide in-work support to facilitate individuals' adjustment to roles, help them overcome challenges, and maintain employment.
• Ideally possess experience in recruitment, employer engagement, business development, sales, account management, employability, employment services, or another employer-facing position.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with employers and other stakeholders.
• Capability to identify employer needs and transform discussions into recruitment opportunities.
• Proficient in effectively matching individuals to vacancies and supporting successful recruitment processes.
• Confident in communication and skilled at influencing a wide array of individuals.
• Ability to network within the local business community and cultivate new employer relationships.
• Aptitude for managing multiple employers, vacancies, and participants while maintaining organization.
• Commitment to achieving performance targets and contractual outcomes.
• Understanding of local labor markets and the factors that influence recruitment.
• Valuable experience in welfare-to-work, employability, supported employment, or working with individuals facing barriers to employment.
• Relevant experience working with young people, apprenticeships, or skills pathways is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel and conduct outreach across North Lancashire.
