This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the monitoring and observability service
• Ensure compliance with agreed SLA, KPI, and quality levels
• Plan and allocate tasks to the technical team
• Monitor critical incidents, issues, and corrective actions
• Manage and prioritize the backlog of incidents, requests, and improvements
• Coordinate escalations with manufacturers, suppliers, and client teams
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client
• Conduct regular operational and executive follow-up meetings
• Present monthly service reports, trends, and indicators
• Identify risks, deviations, and improvement opportunities
• Manage expectations and ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate a team of specialized engineers and technicians
• Track objectives, workload, and performance
• Encourage professional development and knowledge transfer
• Promote good operational and methodological practices
• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
• Drive observability initiatives and operational transformation
• Define service improvement plans
• Participate in the technological evolution of monitoring platforms
• Experience with observability tools such as BMC HELIX Operations Management (BHOM), Elastic, or other similar tools (preferred)
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
• Understanding of networks and communications
• Familiarity with physical and virtual servers
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containers
• Experience with public cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of middleware and enterprise applications
• Fluent English is essential, minimum B2 level and preferably C1
• Familiarity with ITSM and ITIL v4 (valued)
• Knowledge of incident, problem, change, service level, capacity, and availability management
• Understanding of project management; PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent methodologies (valued)
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Understanding of risk management
• Experience in project planning and tracking
• Knowledge of financial management and budget control (valued)
