This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Deliver technical and functional support for the JD Edwards ERP system, specifically within the Order Management, Hardware Tracking MDM, and Technical Service Modules.
• Spearhead the technical design and development of the JD Edwards ERP system for both Order Management and Invoicing modules, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and system stability.
• Supervise the cloning process of current applications to internalize them, guaranteeing complete technical ownership and optimizing cloned systems for future business expansion.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect and assess technical requirements, translating them into actionable system design and development tasks that prioritize performance and functionality.
• Configure JD Edwards systems for Order Management and Invoicing, concentrating on technical optimization, integration, and ensuring configurations align with business and technical specifications.
• Work alongside third-party support teams and delivery teams to resolve technical issues, implement necessary enhancements, and ensure all technical solutions comply with global IT standards.
• Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning for the Order Management and Invoicing modules, focusing on resolving integration issues with other systems, databases, and external services.
• Lead system integration initiatives for Order-to-Cash and Invoicing processes, connecting JD Edwards with third-party applications, APIs, EDI systems, and legacy platforms to ensure data consistency and efficient workflows.
• Design and implement technical solutions aimed at process improvements and optimization within order management and invoicing workflows, leveraging JD Edwards capabilities while integrating custom developments.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation, including comprehensive system designs, architecture diagrams, API documentation, and user manuals to facilitate system deployment, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
• Oversee system upgrades, patches, and technical enhancements for JD Edwards, particularly within the Order Management and Invoicing modules, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Ensure system adherence to industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements, including internal controls, auditability, and documentation standards.
• Create technical reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor system health, and enhance system performance within the Order-to-Cash process.
• Optimize cloned applications by enhancing system functionality, scalability, performance, and user experience, ensuring the solutions adapt in accordance with business needs.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to guarantee technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines are met, ensuring technical solutions align with business requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in a technical role working with JD Edwards ERP, with a focus on Order Management and Invoicing modules.
• Strong technical skills in configuring and customizing JD Edwards, including system architecture, performance optimization, integration, and troubleshooting for Order Management and Invoicing workflows.
• Extensive experience with JD Edwards 9.2 or later versions, particularly in Order Management, Invoicing, and related modules.
• Comprehensive understanding of technical workflows in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and their integration with third-party systems.
• Proficient in system integrations, capable of designing and implementing APIs, web services, and integration tools between JD Edwards and external systems.
• Expertise in debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting technical issues within JD Edwards, emphasizing system performance and scalability improvements.
• Strong background in SQL, database management, and crafting complex queries for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data within JD Edwards.
• Proficient in creating technical documentation such as system architecture diagrams, API documentation, configuration specifications, and user manuals.
• Experience managing system upgrades and patches for JD Edwards, ensuring all technical aspects align with global business objectives.
• Familiarity with cloning applications and optimizing in-house systems to enhance scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Strong problem-solving abilities combined with a deep technical aptitude for analyzing and resolving complex issues while implementing sustainable solutions.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that technical solutions fulfill broader business needs.
• Experience in project management for ERP systems, particularly concerning technical upgrades, implementations, or large-scale system enhancements, is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal, written, and listening).
