JavaScript Game Developer, Pixi.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• **Comprehensive Development:** Creating and building essential front-end elements and game flow from the ground up.

• **Collaborative Partnership:** Working closely with **animators** to establish project frameworks, naming standards, and asset integration.

• **Logic & Performance Enhancement:** Actively refactoring existing functionalities (e.g., pot logic) and upgrading features to boost efficiency.

• **Quality Assurance:** Engaging in necessary Code Reviews and collaborating with the QA team to guarantee a stable and bug-free launch.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience with **ES6+, Pixi.js, Pixi-Spine, HTML5, and CSS3.0**.

• **Experience in the iGaming/Slots sector:** Familiarity with specific game mechanics (e.g., Cluster Pays), game mathematics, and the overall "feel" of slot games.

• Extensive experience with **Spine animations** and **Tween.js/GSAP**.

• Strong grasp of WebGL principles, **MVC architecture**, and standard game development practices.

• Proven track record of maintaining and optimizing games across all major mobile and desktop browsers.

• Expertise in **Git** and experience with **Jira** (managing change requests and task tracking).

• Fluent in **Ukrainian** (for internal collaboration) and comfortable with **English** (for documentation and global expansion).

• **Team-Oriented:** You value constructive Code Reviews and foster a positive, proactive work environment.

• **User-Centric:** You focus not only on closing tickets but also on enhancing the player’s experience and the game's "feel."

• Additional skills that are a plus:

• Ability to work with **gulp, webpack, vite**;

• Experience with **TypeScript**;

• Familiarity with **Figma or Miro**.
