JavaScript Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, both in spoken and written form.

• An exceptional communicator: capable of articulating technical requirements, conveying technical strategies or blockers, and addressing any issues while both seeking and providing assistance when necessary.

• A fully proactive and self-motivated time-management specialist.

• Several years of experience in professional software development.

• Proficient in writing extensive JavaScript/TypeScript code, applying best practices, design patterns, and frameworks that ensure longevity.

• In-depth expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.

• Capable of implementing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Advanced experience with MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL (including testing, index optimization, and query optimization).

• Responsible for creating pull requests and reviewing teammates’ pull requests, mentoring junior members of the development team.

• Engage in design discussions with team members to devise the optimal technical solutions that fulfill business requirements while prioritizing performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Innovate continuously. There’s always room for improvement, whether it pertains to processes, tools, or technology choices. If you can envision it, you have the opportunity to create it.
