This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Participated in the inception, elaboration, and analysis of requirements and design.

• Engaged in both high-level and low-level design phases throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Actively contributed during the development phase and addressed technical challenges.

• Collaborated with front-end developers and UX designers to design APIs using TDD/BDD methodologies.

• Ensured continuous integration and maintenance of various application modules.

• Reviewed peers' code, promoted daily smaller commits, and assisted in rectifying poor commits.

• Coded and debugged applications effectively.

• Authored automated integration, functional, and unit test cases.

• Deployed and implemented various business workflows.

• Conducted software and code analysis, including code reviews.

• Participated in SIT/UAT and provided rollout support.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in the Java technology stack.

• Strong technical expertise in Java/J2EE technologies and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented design principles.

• More than 5 years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, OAuth 2.0, RDBMS (preferably Oracle), mocking frameworks, JUnit/TestNG, messaging queues, and Git.

• Preferred experience with legacy migration.

• Familiarity with EJB, servlets, and related technologies is a significant advantage.

• Working knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

• Proficient in creating and consuming web services for REST and SOAP communication protocols.

• Experienced in developing microservices.

• Strong understanding of Backend as a Service (BaaS) platforms and the 12-factor rule for SaaS applications.

• Preferred exposure to Microsoft Azure.

• Basic understanding of data modeling along with hands-on experience in SQL.

• Experience working in a CI/CD environment.

• Familiarity with the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and DevOps practices.

• Awareness of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies.

• Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills are essential.
