This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver first- and second-tier technical software assistance directly to clients.
• Engage in and/or lead meetings for issue tracking and ticket review with internal teams and clients.
• Concentrate on issues and activities related to production.
• Collaborate with Support Engineers, Maven Core Engineers, and Quality Assurance Testing Engineers.
• Utilize Jira to monitor support issues in alignment with client-specific SLAs.
• Leverage Jira to manage Maven migration requests and DCRs in accordance with client expectations.
• Provide after-hours phone support as necessary based on business requirements.
• Log time spent on projects and tasks in accordance with Conduent policy.
• Travel to client or company locations as necessary.
• Resolve issue tickets and apply fixes.
• Create change requests.
• Execute minor and major software release migrations and builds.
• Package and deliver escrow materials.
• Assist with defects, enhancements, features, migrations, and implementations.
• Carry out software security scans and code reviews.
• Fulfill contractual obligations and complete assigned deliverables within set timeframes.
• Report directly to the Maven Delivery Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Development with over 4 years of experience in Java Software Development, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Java/J2EE.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases, including Oracle, MSQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of JavaScript and associated technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and Ajax.
• Knowledge of XML.
• Experience with application servers like Tomcat, WebSphere, AWS, and Azure is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies is beneficial.
• Experience with enterprise software is mandatory.
• Knowledge of the public health sector is a plus.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service, including strong listening and empathy skills.
• Capability to organize and manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and managing competing priorities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Ability to stay calm, composed, and articulate in challenging situations.
• Capacity to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams and organizations.
• Self-driven and capable of learning in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment with minimal supervision.
