Java Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of Java-based components within the modernization framework.

• Provide support for refactoring legacy components under the guidance of senior developers.

• Engage in the implementation of APIs, integrations, and backend services.

• Write clean and maintainable code in accordance with established coding standards.

• Help document technical requirements, system behaviors, and updates to application architecture.

• Conduct basic unit testing and support debugging activities.

• Collaborate with mid-level and senior developers during design sessions and sprint ceremonies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0 years of experience with a BS/BA; 4 years of experience with a HS Diploma/equivalent.

• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

• US Citizenship is required.

• Experience in AI development is essential.

• Preferred experience in cloud development.

• Must have experience developing Java EE applications on the WebLogic Application Server.

• High-level knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems is necessary.

• Security+ Certification is preferred.
