This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

• Manage a team of Java developers dedicated to FinTech initiatives.

• Design and structure software solutions that align with business objectives.

• Perform code reviews, offer technical support, and ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into technical documentation.

• Supervise the development lifecycle, from planning and requirements analysis to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

• Evaluate team performance and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and new technologies to introduce fresh ideas to the team.

• Demonstrated experience leading software development teams, ideally in the Fintech sector.

• Strong expertise in the Java programming language and associated frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).

• Background in software architecture and design patterns.

• In-depth understanding of financial services and technology trends.

• Familiarity with databases, including SQL and NoSQL technologies.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adhere to deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in Java development, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.
