Java Developer – Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve microservices utilizing Java with Spring Boot

• Create efficient and scalable RESTful APIs

• Outline and advance backend architecture

• Collaborate with both synchronous and asynchronous integrations

• Maintain technical quality, security, and adherence to coding best practices

• Engage in technical enhancements and architectural choices

• Function within a distributed environment comprising multiple modules and integrations

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java 11+

• Profound knowledge of Spring Boot

• Familiarity with Spring Data / JPA / Hibernate

• Proven experience in developing REST APIs

• Understanding of security measures (Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT)

• Background in microservices architecture

• Awareness of architectural methodologies (Clean Architecture, Hexagonal; DDD is advantageous)

• Experience with messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent)

• Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous integrations

• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)

• Competence in unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito; Jest is beneficial for Node)

• Integration experience with SonarQube

• Familiarity with Git version control

• Understanding of semantic versioning

• Participation in code reviews and establishment of coding standards

• Ability to produce structured technical documentation

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline processes

• Docker knowledge is a plus

• Experience in retail/e-commerce projects is a plus

• Familiarity with omnichannel architecture is a plus

• Experience handling high transaction volumes is a plus

• Knowledge of observability (structured logs, metrics, tracing) is a plus
