Java Developer – Oracle Commerce Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive analysis, design, development, enhancement, implementation, and support for intricate software systems.

• Act as the subject matter expert for Oracle Commerce Cloud and its integrated subsystems that support FWGS.com, LOOP, and the Associate Portal.

• Deliver daily operational assistance for OCC, OIC, and extranet environments.

• Design, develop, debug, and maintain code for Oracle Commerce Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud, and associated Oracle systems.

• Review codebases, detect defects, and create solutions that align with business needs.

• Perform developer-level testing prior to the promotion of changes to UAT.

• Investigate and assess products, integrations, and enhancements.

• Integrate new systems into the Oracle Suite via programming and configuration modifications.

• Execute peer code reviews and adhere to agency change-management protocols.

• Generate level-of-effort estimates and present them to IT leadership and business stakeholders.

• Carry out internal testing, assist business users during UAT, address defects, and retest until acceptance is achieved.

• Manage and synchronize several non-production environments.

• Diagnose, investigate, and resolve issues reported by internal staff.

• Conduct maintenance tasks including job restarts, integration restarts, and system monitoring.

• Supervise system performance and implement enhancements for improved performance.

• Collaborate on backup, recovery, data security, error handling, and system controls.

• Develop standards, guidelines, and customer service levels for PLCB web applications.

• Create design, requirements, level of effort, technical, and functional documentation.

• Provide regular status updates to the group manager.

• Assess software products and act as the SME for systems, tools, processes, policies, and codebases.

• 2–5 years of experience in HTML/CSS.

• 2–5 years of experience in SQL.

• 2–5 years of experience in XML/JSON.

• 2–5 years of experience in JavaScript.

• 2–5 years of experience in Java.

• 0–2 years of experience in Oracle SQL Developer.

• 2–5 years of experience with Open Storefront Framework.

• 0–2 years of experience in DevOps.

• 0–2 years of experience in Visual Studio.

• 2–5 years of experience in MongoDB.

• Experience with Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC).

• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

• Practical experience with Open Storefront Framework.

• Familiarity with Visual Studio and MongoDB.

• Capability to support Oracle-based digital platforms and integrated subsystems.

• Ability to conduct developer-level testing and assist with UAT.

• Proficiency in following agency change-management guidelines and documentation standards.

• Ability to ensure PCI compliance, security policies, e-commerce standards, and testing documentation are upheld.

• Willingness to perform off-hours maintenance and monitoring as necessary.
