Java Developer (Mid/Senior) – Financial Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in the creation and development of APIs (REST) and Java applications.

• Suggest enhancements to current solutions to improve performance.

• Integrate the system with newly developed or modified software components.

• Design and maintain API and microservice solutions for client consumption.

• Construct, enhance, and expand distributed architectures and microservices.

• Comprehend client requirements and deliver straightforward, high-quality, scalable solutions.

• Take part in ceremonies as outlined by agile methodologies.

• Prepare and implement system deployments.

• Address obstacles that impact the team’s deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Java (experience with Java 8 or newer).

• Familiarity with PHP.

• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Understanding of event-driven architecture.

• Proficiency in databases (both SQL and NoSQL).

• Skills in unit testing and integration testing.

• Familiarity with Docker.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of Kafka.

• Understanding of cloud concepts (Azure).

• Commitment to Clean Code practices.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

• Experience working on projects in the financial sector.

• A proactive approach to tasks.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to propose and support the implementation of enhancements to processes and tools within your area.

• Active participation in internal groups that encourage innovation and the institution's growth.
