Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Contribute to enhancing the development and build processes;

• Design and create production-grade, enterprise-level systems that heavily utilize messaging and microservices;

• Engage in the Java implementation of applications and microservices, integrating with search engines, while ensuring backend code is reliable, fast, scalable, and secure, meeting requirements and service level agreements;

• Develop OAUTH authentication mechanisms and implement validation processes as unit and integration tests;

• Support the deployment and configuration of the system, set up CI/CD pipelines, and demonstrate familiarity with Kubernetes/Docker;

• Adhere to Scrum methodologies and estimate tasks upon request;

• Produce technical documentation and ensure adherence to secure coding practices, along with logging and auditing features;

• Work with Git while following the pull request procedure;

• Write clean, secure, and high-quality code.

⛳️ Requirements

• University Degree and a minimum of 10 years of professional IT experience;

• Over 6 years of professional experience with OOP paradigms and SOLID principles using Java 11 (or higher), along with familiarity with common Java frameworks such as Spring and SpringBoot;

• More than 2 years of professional experience with at least one JavaScript front-end framework: Vue.js, jQuery, React/Angular2;

• Strong knowledge of application development environments including Java 11+, Eclipse or IntelliJ, Maven, and Git;

• Proficient in designing and developing components such as REST APIs, integrations, and microservices, with experience in using REST-based frameworks like Spring MVC and tools like Postman, as well as building SOAP and gRPC web servers and clients within the Java/Spring context;

• Good understanding of relational databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server, and the ability to use Spring Data and Hibernate;

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban;

• Solid knowledge of OOP paradigms and SOLID principles using Java 11 (or higher) and common Java frameworks: Spring, SpringBoot;

• Knowledge of container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes;

• Familiarity with messaging systems like ActiveMQ;

• Understanding of CI/CD systems like TFS/Azure DevOps;

• Knowledge of front-end web application development, including JavaScript, jQuery, and JSP;

• Proficient in JavaScript front-end frameworks: Vue.js, React/Angular2;

• Familiarity with Java EIP frameworks like Apache Camel and Spring Integration;

• Good understanding of Enterprise Integration methodologies and patterns, with proficiency in modeling EIP systems using classic EIP patterns and diagrams;

• Knowledge of NoSQL and graph databases, as well as Elasticsearch;

• Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as AGILE, and experience in implementing Scrum;

• Excellent command of the English language.
