Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Resolve bugs, prioritize issues, and deliver product support for the case management and FWA detection solutions.

• Implement features as per contractual agreements and refactor modules, focusing on enhancing the performance of older integrations.

• Conduct deployments in collaboration with the SecOps team, which includes setting up and upgrading customer environments.

• Address security vulnerabilities within the stipulated contractual timeframes.

• Execute SQL and data tasks across customer environments, encompassing queries, data structures, and data migration activities.

• Engage in code reviews, taking on roles as both author and reviewer.

• Following the onboarding process, enhance configuration, properties, and user-defined field management in the legacy platform.

• Provide support for production environments and implement fixes via a shared codebase for all customers in need.

• Collaborate effectively with product teams, project management, QA, and fellow engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in software engineering, particularly with production Java.

• Proficiency in object-oriented Java within deployed enterprise applications, including J2EE design patterns.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and single-page applications, including both development and consumption.

• Strong SQL skills: crafting queries, working with data structures, and facilitating data migrations between environments.

• Background in enterprise or SaaS products implemented for multiple external clients.

• Experience following established team standards in a code-review enforced setting.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and available during US business hours.

• Preferred: Experience with Tomcat or similar application server configuration.

• Preferred: Front-end skills using a modern framework along with TypeScript or JavaScript; experience with Angular is a plus.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Azure environment setup and deployment processes.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Snowflake.

• Preferred: Experience in CVE and security patch management.

• Preferred: Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools.

• Exposure to JSP is beneficial but not mandatory.
