Japanese Transcriber

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Convert audio recordings into clear and well-organized text

• Engage with various audio formats, including:

• Solo speaker recordings

• Podcasts

• Conversations with multiple speakers

• Identify speakers when necessary

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail

• Adhere to specific transcription and formatting guidelines for each project

• Transform audio material into written documentation

• Ensure consistency in formatting and structure throughout

• Guarantee clarity and thoroughness in all transcriptions

• Tag or label sections of text or audio

• Organize content according to established guidelines

• Contribute to data quality and the development of training datasets

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional proficiency in Japanese

• Competent written English skills

• Excellent listening and comprehension abilities

• Capability to adhere to detailed instructions and guidelines

• Prior experience in transcription or annotation is advantageous, though not mandatory

• A minimum availability of 4 hours during scheduled transcription shifts is required
