ITS Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Support our expanding ITS / Traffic engineering team on a variety of projects throughout Louisiana and potentially other states within the Gulf Region.

• Oversee the integration and maintenance of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and networking devices.

• Manage the configuration, installation, and maintenance of essential communications systems.

• Diagnose Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) problems to ensure uninterrupted connectivity and optimal system performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a specialized or technical field, such as ethernet switches, wireless radios, fiber optics, and CCTV systems.

• Experience operating aerial equipment, including manlifts and bucket trucks.

• Possession of Tower Safety and Rescue Certifications or a commitment to obtain them post-hire.

• NFPA 70 Electrical certification or a willingness to acquire it after hiring.

• IMSA Traffic Signal Technician certification or a readiness to obtain it after being hired.

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License.

• Knowledge of Fiber Optic and/or Wireless Communications.
