This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing IT systems.
• Collect information from staff and systems, demonstrating effective communication skills, and provide comprehensive documentation of actions taken while adhering to established operating procedures and approved best practices as applicable.
• Navigate, guide, and implement necessary base configuration changes across various system interfaces.
• Provide Tier 1-2 end-user support and assist in escalating issues to contracted third-party providers.
• Perform simple migration tasks between different software applications.
• Develop and sustain technical documentation for both IT and end-user audiences.
• Undertake other basic and intermediate IT administration responsibilities as mutually agreed upon.
• Maintain approved ongoing training, conduct research, and troubleshoot concepts in the development environment.
• Collaborate with managers and HR to onboard and offboard personnel.
• Participate in company meetings.
• Offer guidance, training, and mentorship to junior members of the IT team.
• Engage with a diverse range of individuals, companies, time zones, platforms, and varying levels of demands.
• Contribute to special projects within the IT Division.
• An associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience delivering Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support in a Microsoft-based environment.
• Experience with administering Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Windows 10/11.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, identity management, multi-factor authentication, BitLocker, and Microsoft licensing.
• Proficient in supporting desktop hardware, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and remote users.
• Familiarity with remote support and endpoint management tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to prioritize multiple support requests.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
• Experience in documenting technical procedures, support tickets, and system configurations.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while effectively collaborating with distributed teams.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
