This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Participate in the execution of new product implementations and the continuous enhancement, upkeep, and optimization of DevOps methodologies across Engineering.
• Work collaboratively with vendors, engineering teams, and peer operations groups to provide dependable and scalable solutions.
• Formulate organizational standards, policies, procedures, and best practices for DevOps environments.
• Design and execute straightforward, repeatable, and trustworthy solutions that enhance systems, processes, and operational workflows.
• Take ownership and coordinate release management activities to ensure consistent, controlled, and successful deployments.
• Establish, sustain, and support systems and tools across both development and production environments.
• Develop, manage, and maintain version control systems along with their associated processes.
• Keep a thorough documentation library for DevOps systems, processes, and procedures.
• Generate technical and operational documentation for new systems and solutions to facilitate transition and knowledge transfer to operational support teams.
• Create and develop internal solutions that support core business operations.
• Design, implement, and monitor automation services between business systems.
• Review, assess, and optimize business processes and systems.
• Assist in the design, deployment, and management of core business systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in DevOps.
• More than 3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong expertise in Linux/Unix system administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with open-source technologies and cloud platforms.
• Working knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, and JVM-based server environments.
• Proficiency in Python, PHP, Perl, and/or Ruby.
• Solid understanding of IT operations best practices in highly available, production-critical environments.
• Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of projects.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• AWS architecture certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, is advantageous.
