IT Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee corporate IT systems

• Provide Tier 1 & 2 support for hardware and software issues related to internal IT in a remote setting

• Administer organizational applications

• Perform laptop patching to ensure compliance and maintain optimal performance using the Iru MDM solution

• Utilize the Jira ticketing system to assist staff

• Safeguard data security by enforcing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO)

• Address audio/video problems via Zoom

• Manage inventory stock

• Execute additional duties and responsibilities as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on IT experience is mandatory for this role

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential

• Familiarity with Atlassian, Google Workspace Enterprise Plus, Iru, Microsoft O365, Okta, macOS, Cisco Umbrella, Cortex Cloud, VPN, Palo Alto Networks StrataCloud, Cisco Meraki, and Zoom

• Preference for candidates with experience in the Healthcare sector and a solid understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and PII

• Demonstrated capability as an IT support specialist in a dynamic environment

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and policies governing PHI and PII is preferred

• Proficient in Google Workspace Enterprise Plus

• Extensive knowledge of technical management and computer hardware/software systems, including expert-level experience with iOS and macOS Apple devices; familiarity with Microsoft Windows devices is an advantage

• Experience with security applications for macOS devices, such as Iru, Cisco Umbrella, Cortex Cloud, VPN, and Okta SSO, is a plus

• Experience in technology rollouts

• Proficient in using Atlassian products, including Confluence and Jira

• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver exceptional IT service
